NCT ID NCT07693842
First seen Jul 09, 2026 · Last updated Jul 10, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tests whether showing an animated video or using therapeutic play before a throat swab can help children aged 4-8 feel less fear, anxiety, and distress. About 105 children will be randomly assigned to watch a short animation, engage in a playful activity, or receive standard care. Researchers will measure changes in the children's emotional expression, fear, and anxiety to see which approach works best.
