Summary
This study looks at whether watching an animated film or reading a storybook can lower fear and anxiety in children ages 7-12 who have just been diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. About 64 children will take part, and their anxiety levels will be measured using special child-friendly scales. The goal is to find simple, non-drug ways to help kids cope with a new diagnosis.
