Protein clues may reveal kidney future after sudden failure
NCT ID NCT07512661
First seen Apr 08, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 11 times
Summary
This study looked at 80 people who had acute kidney injury to see if levels of a protein called angiotensinogen in their blood and urine could predict how well their kidneys would work three years later. Researchers want to know if this protein can help identify who is at risk for developing chronic kidney disease. The study is observational and does not test any new treatment.
