New study tests which nerve block works better for senior arm surgery pain

Summary
This study aims to find out which of two nerve-blocking techniques provides better pain relief for older adults having arm surgery below the elbow. Researchers will compare how quickly pain relief starts, how much pain medication is needed afterward, and overall patient satisfaction. The study will include 70 elderly patients undergoing arm surgeries that take less than two hours.
