Summary
This study aims to find out if people with insomnia need a higher dose of the anesthesia drug etomidate during a digestive endoscopy procedure compared to people with normal sleep. Researchers will compare two groups of 840 total adults: those diagnosed with insomnia and those with normal sleep patterns. The goal is to understand how sleep problems might affect anesthesia needs and patient safety during common medical procedures.
