Could a steady sleep during surgery lead to a smoother Wake-Up?
NCT ID NCT07454629
Summary
This study aims to understand if fluctuations in how deeply a patient is asleep under general anesthesia affect their quality of recovery after surgery. Researchers will observe 126 adults having elective gallbladder surgery, using standard brainwave monitors to track anesthesia depth. They will compare this data to patient questionnaires about recovery quality filled out before and after the procedure.
