Do chilly patients need less anesthesia? study investigates

NCT ID NCT07467681

Summary

This study aims to understand if having a low body temperature during and after hip replacement surgery affects how much anesthesia gas a patient needs. Researchers will observe 70 patients aged 65 and older, recording their temperature and the amount of anesthesia used. The goal is to gather knowledge that might help anesthesiologists better manage care for elderly surgical patients.
