First seen Feb 27, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 9 times
Summary
This study tests a new drug called AND017 for anemia caused by a bone marrow disorder called lower-risk myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS). About 63 adults with MDS who need few or no blood transfusions will receive different doses of AND017 to see if it can raise hemoglobin levels or reduce the need for transfusions. The goal is to manage the disease and improve blood counts, not to cure it.
