New pill aims to boost red blood cells in kidney patients without dialysis

Summary

This study tests a new medicine called AND017 for anemia caused by chronic kidney disease. About 240 adults with moderate to severe kidney disease who are not on dialysis will receive either AND017 or a standard treatment. The goal is to see if AND017 can safely keep hemoglobin levels stable.
