NCT ID NCT07010107

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This study tests a new medication called anaprazole to see if it can heal the esophagus better than an existing drug (rabeprazole) in people with reflux esophagitis, a condition where stomach acid damages the throat lining. About 500 adults will take either anaprazole or rabeprazole daily for up to 8 weeks. The main goal is to check if the esophagus lining fully heals after treatment.
