Summary

This study tested a device called the Amplatzer Amulet in 50 Chinese adults with non-valvular atrial fibrillation who cannot take long-term blood thinners. The device is implanted to close off a part of the heart where clots can form, aiming to prevent strokes. The study looked at safety and effectiveness over two years, but it was terminated early.
