Could a simple blood test end amoxicillin allergy guesswork?

NCT ID NCT06409884

First seen May 16, 2026 · Last updated Jun 05, 2026 · Updated 3 times

Summary

This study is testing a new blood test (T-cell activation test) to see if it can reliably diagnose amoxicillin allergy. About 300 people with a suspected allergy will give blood samples and may have skin tests. The goal is to improve accuracy so people don't avoid amoxicillin unnecessarily.
