Placenta-Derived membrane tested as advanced bandage for stubborn diabetic wounds
NCT ID NCT07466576
Summary
This early-stage study is testing a special dressing made from sterilized human amniotic membrane (the inner lining of the placenta) to see if it can help heal chronic diabetic foot ulcers. The research will compare membranes treated with different radiation doses to find the safest and most effective version. The goal is to promote wound closure and reduce infection risk for patients with these hard-to-heal wounds.
