Could a fluid from pregnancy help heal chronic back pain?
NCT ID NCT04537026
Summary
This study tested a new injection for chronic back and leg pain caused by spinal narrowing (stenosis). Researchers compared a filtered fluid from human amniotic sacs, which has natural healing properties, against a standard steroid injection. The goal was to see if the amniotic fluid was safer and better at reducing pain and disability in 61 adults who hadn't improved with other treatments.
