New patch aims to speed healing of stubborn diabetic foot sores

Summary
This study tests whether adding a special patch called Amnio-Maxx to usual wound care helps close chronic diabetic foot ulcers faster than usual care alone. About 248 adults with diabetes and a nonhealing foot ulcer will take part. The main goal is to see if the ulcer closes completely and how much the wound size shrinks over time.
