New drug combo tested for tough blood cancers
NCT ID NCT03672539
Summary
This study is testing whether combining two chemotherapy drugs is safe and effective for treating adults with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) or high-risk myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) that has come back or hasn't responded to other treatments. The goal is to control the disease, potentially leading to remission, and to see if patients can later receive a stem cell transplant. The study will enroll about 50 participants and closely monitor their response and side effects.
