Hip implant study: how does it hold up over years?
NCT ID NCT03505580
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study looked at 500 people who got a cementless AMIStem hip implant between 2009 and 2012. Researchers checked X-rays at 1, 5, and 10 years after surgery to see if there were any signs of loosening or other problems. The goal was to learn how well the implant performs over time, not to test a new treatment.
