Early test of new drug for Tough-to-Treat blood cancer halted
NCT ID NCT03836053
Summary
This early-stage study tested an experimental drug called AMG 420 in patients with multiple myeloma that had returned or stopped responding to at least three prior standard treatments. The main goals were to check the safety of two different dose levels and see if the drug showed any signs of fighting the cancer. The study was terminated early and involved a small group of 23 participants who received the drug through a continuous IV infusion.
