New vaccine aims to halt Alzheimer's brain tangles

Summary
This study tests a treatment called AADvac1, which targets tau protein tangles in the brain, a hallmark of Alzheimer's. It will be given alone or with another drug (donanemab) to 450 adults aged 50-80 with early-stage Alzheimer's. The goal is to see if it safely reduces tau buildup and slows disease progression.
