Blood gels may save your jawbone after tooth pull
NCT ID NCT07530471
First seen Apr 20, 2026 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 5 times
Summary
This study tests whether using a patient's own blood, processed into special gels (T-PRF and i-PRF), can reduce bone loss after a tooth is removed. Forty healthy adults needing a single-rooted tooth pulled will receive the treatment, and healing will be tracked for 6 months. The goal is to preserve the jawbone for better future dental implants or dentures.
