Summary
This study looks at how being at high altitude (simulated in a lab) affects mood and anxiety in people with depression or anxiety disorders, compared to healthy volunteers. Participants spend six hours in a chamber that mimics the oxygen levels at 3800 meters. The goal is to understand the risks and guide future recommendations for people with mental illnesses who travel to high places.
