Summary
This study aims to understand if children treated for severe lung failure at high-altitude hospitals have different survival rates than those at lower altitudes. Researchers will observe 1,600 children in intensive care units around the world, collecting data on their treatment and the hospital's resources. The goal is to identify gaps in care and create better treatment guidelines for hospitals in different locations.
