Summary
This pilot study will give 70 children aged 6-13 either a daily almond butter snack or a chocolate spread snack for 8 weeks. Researchers will measure changes in gut and mouth bacteria, blood markers, and digestion. The goal is to see if almonds can improve gut health and reduce future heart disease risk.
