New device could stop deadly Post-Birth bleeding

Summary

This study tests a device called the Alma system for women who have severe bleeding after childbirth (postpartum hemorrhage) that does not stop with standard treatments. About 50 women who experience this emergency will receive the Alma treatment. The goal is to see if the device safely controls bleeding and avoids the need for more invasive procedures.
