First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study tests a new medicine called Allocetra, given as a shot into the knee, to see if it safely reduces pain and improves function in people with knee osteoarthritis. About 160 adults aged 45 to 80 with chronic knee pain that hasn't responded to standard treatments will receive either Allocetra or a placebo. The main goal is to check for side effects and measure changes in pain over 6 months.
