Sniff or swallow? new study tests best way to fight hay fever
NCT ID NCT07294326
Summary
This study aims to find out which combination works better for people with moderate to severe allergic rhinitis (hay fever): a nasal corticosteroid spray plus a nasal antihistamine spray, or the same nasal spray plus an oral antihistamine pill. Researchers will enroll 50 participants aged 12-75 from Northeast China to compare how well each combo relieves nasal and eye symptoms and improves quality of life. The goal is to provide clearer guidance for standard allergy treatment.
