Summary
This early-phase study tested a single dose of an investigational nasal spray (BPL-003) combined with psychological support in 13 adults with moderate-to-severe alcohol use disorder. The main goals were to check safety and to see if the treatment could reduce heavy drinking days. Results are not yet available, but the study lays groundwork for larger trials.
