Veterans' alcohol counseling may curb partner violence

Summary

This study tests whether a brief, two-session alcohol counseling program can help Veterans reduce their drinking and prevent intimate partner violence. Researchers will compare this program to alcohol education or standard check-in calls. 300 Veterans who are already in a partner violence program will participate.
