Summary
This study tested whether adding alcohol to a standard pain injection for the sacroiliac joint (a common cause of low back pain) provides better relief. 54 adults with chronic pain lasting over 12 weeks received either the standard injection or one with added alcohol. The goal was to measure pain levels and disability before and after treatment.
