Summary
This study tested a short, motivational interview-based program called 'Reduce Alcohol for Your Health' for injured patients in a Tanzanian emergency department. 674 adults who had been drinking before their injury took part. The goal was to see if this brief chat could help them drink less and avoid future alcohol-related harm.
