Summary
This study tests a new wearable device that uses light to measure blood pressure continuously, comparing it to standard home cuffs. About 35 adults with high blood pressure (stage 1 or 2) will wear the device while starting or adjusting their blood pressure medications. The goal is to see if the optical monitor is as accurate and easier to use than traditional home monitoring.
