New hope for advanced cervical cancer: AK104 combo shows promise in phase 3 trial

Summary
This phase 3 study tests whether adding the drug AK104 to standard chemotherapy (with or without bevacizumab) helps people with persistent, recurrent, or metastatic cervical cancer live longer without their disease worsening. About 445 women who have not had prior systemic therapy for advanced disease are participating. The main goals are to see if the combination improves progression-free survival and overall survival.
