First seen Jan 15, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study looked at whether common tests used to check a pregnant woman's airway can predict if placing a breathing tube during a C-section will be difficult. Over 500 women were tested before surgery, and the results were compared to what actually happened during anesthesia. The goal is to help doctors better prepare and improve safety for mothers undergoing cesarean sections.
