First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study tests a new computer algorithm that uses CT scans to predict the best way to place a breathing tube in patients with laryngeal cancer. The goal is to see if the computer's plan matches the real-world path taken by doctors during awake, camera-guided intubation. About 70 adults scheduled for laryngeal cancer surgery will participate, and the study will compare the predicted and actual tube routes to improve safety and precision.
