Can AI replace a second doctor in cancer screening?
NCT ID NCT07075679
Summary
This study is testing whether using artificial intelligence (AI) can help one radiologist read mammograms as accurately as the current standard of two radiologists. It will involve 8,000 women in a breast cancer screening program. The goal is to see if AI-assisted reading maintains high detection rates while potentially making the screening process more efficient.
