First seen Jan 15, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study looked at 600 X-rays from children and adults to see if an artificial intelligence (AI) program could help doctors find fractures. The AI was compared to radiologists with different experience levels. Results suggest that using AI can improve the detection of broken bones, which may lead to fewer missed injuries.
