First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 29 times
Summary
This study tested whether an AI program (WeDoCeph) can accurately analyze dental X-rays compared to the traditional manual method. Researchers looked at 40 X-rays and measured 15 different angles and distances twice, four weeks apart. The goal was to see if the AI is as accurate and more consistent than manual tracing. The study did not test any treatment or cure, only compared measurement methods.
