First seen Mar 12, 2026 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 10 times
Summary
This study compares AI-guided versus manual analysis of dental CT scans to help dentists decide if they can place an implant immediately after removing a molar. About 80 adults needing a molar extraction and implant will be randomly assigned to one of the two planning methods. The goal is to see if AI can match or improve the success rate of immediate implant placement, reduce surgery time, and simplify planning.
