Summary
This study tested whether using artificial intelligence (AI) to help analyze heart sounds could improve the detection of congenital heart disease in children. Over 19,000 children aged 0-18 in China were screened, comparing results from primary care doctors alone versus doctors using AI assistance. The goal was to see if AI could reduce missed cases and make screening more effective and widespread.
