First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 39 times
Summary
This study tests a new AI tool called SiD v2.0 that helps embryologists choose the best sperm for ICSI (a type of IVF). Currently, sperm selection is done by eye, which can vary between experts. The AI scores each sperm on quality, aiming to make the process more consistent. The study will involve 100 couples and compare pregnancy and embryo outcomes between AI-assisted and manual selection.
