Summary
This study tested whether an artificial intelligence (AI) tool could help primary care doctors more accurately diagnose skin conditions and decide if a specialist referral is needed. Nine doctors reviewed 30 images of various skin issues, first diagnosing on their own and then with AI assistance. The goal was to see if the AI improved diagnostic accuracy and referral decisions.
