AI steps in to make Kids' heart surgeries safer

NCT ID NCT07375602

Summary

This study aims to create a computer model (AI) that can predict which children are most at risk for complications after a common, minimally invasive heart procedure. Researchers will look back at the medical records of over 5,000 children who had the procedure to find patterns. The goal is to help doctors identify high-risk patients before surgery, allowing for better planning and potentially improving safety.
