AI creates cancer scans from regular CTs - no extra radiation needed
NCT ID NCT07243873
Summary
This study is testing whether artificial intelligence can create PET scan images from regular CT scans to improve lung cancer diagnosis. Researchers will enroll 10,000 lung cancer patients to see if these AI-generated images match real PET scans in accuracy. The goal is to provide better diagnostic information without exposing patients to additional radiation from extra scans.
