New AI 'Safety Net' could speed up heart disease diagnosis

Summary
This study tests a tool called SCOUT that helps doctors review AI-generated heart disease diagnoses more efficiently. Seven cardiologists will review 110 patient cases using both standard methods and the SCOUT tool to see if it saves time while maintaining accuracy. The goal is to make AI assistance in diagnosis more practical by reducing the need for doctors to check every single AI suggestion.
