First seen Sep 30, 2025 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 33 times
Summary
This study tests whether a 20-minute AI-guided chewing muscle workout before each meal can improve oral hygiene, chewing, and swallowing in people with schizophrenia. Swallowing problems are common in this group and can lead to serious issues like choking or pneumonia. One hundred participants will be randomly assigned to either the AI training or standard care, and their progress will be tracked for three months.
