First seen Feb 01, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study tests whether AI-generated messages about alcohol and cancer risk can change how cancer survivors think about drinking and motivate them to cut back. About 850 adults who have had certain cancers and currently drink alcohol will receive either gain- or loss-framed messages. Researchers will measure changes in beliefs, intentions, and commitment to drinking limits.
