Summary
This study tested whether an artificial intelligence (AI) device could help primary care doctors more accurately diagnose various skin conditions. Nine doctors examined 30 skin images, first giving their own diagnosis and then reviewing the AI's suggestions. Researchers wanted to see if the AI tool improved diagnostic accuracy and helped doctors decide which patients truly needed specialist referrals.
