AI steps into the Doctor's office to spot hidden heart valve problems

NCT ID NCT07197736

Summary

This study is testing whether artificial intelligence (AI) can help heart doctors read ultrasound scans of the heart more quickly and consistently. It will involve 50 cardiologists at Columbia University who will use the AI tool while reviewing patient scans. The goal is to see if the AI helps doctors better identify and classify the severity of leaky or narrowed heart valves.
