First seen Mar 07, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This study tests whether an AI-powered health management system, accessed through a WeChat mini-program, can help adults with epilepsy in rural China have fewer seizures and better manage their condition. About 756 patients from eight rural counties will use the app for features like medication reminders and online doctor consultations, and their results will be compared to those receiving standard care. The goal is to see if this technology can improve seizure control and quality of life in areas with limited access to specialists.
