AI steps in to help doctors spot tricky heart valve disease
NCT ID NCT07144189
Summary
This study is testing whether a computer program using artificial intelligence (AI) can help doctors more accurately diagnose a specific type of severe heart valve narrowing called low-gradient aortic stenosis. Researchers will enroll 300 adults who are already getting a standard heart ultrasound for this condition. The AI will analyze the ultrasound images to see if its diagnosis matches what doctors determine, but the AI's results won't change the patient's treatment plan.
